How do I take care of my Watercolor Batik?
The Watercolor Batik is an original painting and is accomplished with three hot waxes and the finest watercolor paints available. The painting does not need glass for protection as traditional watercolor paintings do, with the batik, the last layer of wax remains for texture. The painting is artist wrapped where the subject continues on the sides, not requiring a frame. The painting can easily be dusted off with a soft dusting brush.
How long do I wait on commissioned or ordered work?
Once you have emailed your interest to the website of ideas on certain colors, subjects etc. to the "Contact Page", I will research the Gallery where the painting is displayed. The shipping time to receive the painting back to my home location and then in turn shipped to you is approximately two weeks.
Once the particulars are discussed on the commissioned new painting; color, subject, size etc. it usually takes about 2 weeks.
What payment options do I have?
Payment for the painting may be cash or credit card, Visa or Master card. It may be purchased over the phone or in person with PayPal.
Where do the ideas for the subjects come from?
I enjoy painting many different subjects. Each challenges me in a various ways. I have kept notebooks of sketches for years. Ideas that I wished to paint once time was available. Presently, I am painting full time and enjoy the numerous sketches for reference.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Fortunately, the collectors of my paintings have shown enthusiasm for the ability to own an original piece that I have not had to confront this situation to date. However, every piece is guaranteed to arrive, packed for protection and completely to your satisfaction. It is my wish that you are happy with the painting for years to come.
